Esipa Tours and Safaris was born from the vision of four Maasai founders who wanted to share the truth of Tanzania with the world. The name Esipa, meaning “the truth” in the Maasai language, reflects our core values of authenticity, honesty, and respect for both nature and people.
Founded in 2023 by Catherine S. Losurutia (Kiteto, Manyara), Catarina K. Laibor (Oltukai, Monduli – Arusha), Kalanga Laiobor (Oltukai, Monduli), and Samson L. Kosyando (Kiteto, Manyara), Esipa began as a dream to create journeys that go beyond travel — experiences that connect visitors with communities, culture, and the land itself.

But our story goes further than adventure. With every trip, 25% of each visitor’s payment is donated to ALARI (Arid Lands Resources Initiative Development Organisation), supporting conservation, education, and community livelihoods in Tanzania’s arid and semi-arid regions.
